Frequently asked

Good questions.
Straight answers.

What Voyari does, what it deliberately does not, and what is still on its way.

01What does Voyari do?+

It is a trip planner for two people. You log the bones of a trip through quick forms: flights, stays, activities, transit, food, notes and checklists. Voyari lays them out as a day-by-day itinerary, with a travel log beside it for what actually happened. It is not a booking engine, a budgeting app or a social network.

02Can I use it yet?+

Not quite. Voyari is in development and heading to TestFlight. It runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or later, and on a Mac with macOS 26 or later. The roadmap shows what is being worked on, and this site will link the public beta as soon as it opens. If you would like one email when it does, there is a quiet sign-up at the foot of every page.

03How does planning with my partner work?+

You share one trip at a time through a private iCloud invitation, sent with Messages or Mail. Your partner joins as a full editor on their own iPhone, iPad or Mac. Edits made offline merge field by field when you are back online, so two people changing different details of the same booking both keep their work. Sharing is built and being tested on real devices before it is switched on. Until then Voyari says so plainly, and your trips stay on your device.

04Does it look up my flight?+

No, and it does not pretend to. There is no schedule lookup and no live flight status. What it does do: fill in the airline from the flight number, search 7,916 airports with no connection, set each end's time zone from its airport, and estimate an arrival from the time in the air, clearly marked as an estimate. You can also paste a confirmation and Voyari reads what it can, on your device.

05Does it track me?+

No. There is no Voyari account and no Voyari server. The app collects no data, carries no analytics or advertising code, and never asks for your location. It reaches the network in three cases only: iCloud when you turn sync on, Apple Maps when you search for a place, and a single preview of a link you chose to share into the Inbox.

06Is Voyari free? What is Premium?+

Planning is free: unlimited trips, every kind of item, the calendar, checklists, exports and backups. Premium is one purchase, planned at US$7.99 with the App Store showing your local price. It is not a subscription and it includes Family Sharing. It unlocks two things: starting a shared trip, and attaching documents to your own trips. If a purchase is ever refunded, nothing you saved is removed.

07Does my partner need to pay too?+

No. Accepting an invitation is free, for good, and an invited partner is a full editor who can attach files to that trip. Only the person who starts shared trips needs Premium, so only one of you ever buys.

08Can I send the plan to family?+

Yes. Send itinerary writes the trip out as plain text you can message or email to anyone, whether or not they use Voyari. By default it says where you will be and when, and nothing else. Booking references, phone numbers and links, who you are with, costs, your notes and checklists each have their own switch, all off to begin with, and the message lists what was left out so the reader knows to ask. Your travel diary is never included.

09Does Voyari track spending?+

Only lightly. Voyari is not a budgeting or bill-splitting app. You can note what a booking cost and who paid, and each currency keeps its own total, so a trip reads as €1,840 + £310 rather than one made-up number. Nothing is converted and nothing is settled up. If you want to do more with the numbers, export them as a spreadsheet.

10Can I get my data out?+

Yes, all of it, and none of it sits behind Premium. Switch on the Markdown mirror and every trip is written as plain files with its attachments, to iCloud Drive or any folder you pick. It is export-only: editing those files does not change the app. There are also spreadsheets of costs, a folder of your documents, a plain-text itinerary and a calendar file.

11Does it sync with my calendar?+

It exports to it. Add to calendar saves a one-time .ics snapshot that any calendar app can open. Later changes in Voyari do not follow it, and importing twice can duplicate events. Journal entries, note text, booking references and costs are left out of the file.

12What can I share into Voyari?+

A web page, selected text, a PDF or an image, one at a time, using Add to Voyari in the share sheet on iPhone and iPad. On a Mac, paste or drag it into the Inbox. Voyari reads dates, addresses and flight numbers on your device and leaves blank whatever it is not sure of. It does not import email files, read screenshots or use AI.

13What if I delete something by mistake?+

Deleted trips and items wait in Recently Deleted for 30 days, with their checklists and attachments. On a Mac, undo and redo cover edits, new items, checklist changes, archiving and deleting.

14What should I include in a support request?+

Your device, its iOS or macOS version, the app version, what you expected and what happened. Leave out booking references, passport details and travel documents.

15Is Voyari connected to any airline or booking site?+

No. Voyari is an independent app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any airline, airport, hotel or booking service, or by Apple. The trips and bookings pictured on this site are sample data, and the flights in them are real services whose times will have changed since they were read.
